7 Easy Fresh Salads to Make!

7 easy FRESH salads made by Neshama and Rivka Malka, a Youtuber who speaks on Inspiration to women within Jewish spirituality.

 

Quinoa Salad
3 cups cooked quinoa ( cook with a bit of salt)
1 -2 Granny smith apples
½ cup peanuts
A big bunch parsley
1/2 red onion chopped
Lemon, salt, a bit of pepper oil ( optional but I like it)

Mushroom Salad
1 pk mushrooms ( about 10)
½ small onion chopped
1 bunch parsley
1-2 tomato
Salt, pepper, garlic, lemon, oil

Chickpea Salad
1 can of chickpeas
1 tomato
1 avocado
½ red onion
Salt, pepper, garlic, lemon, paprika, a dash of cayenne pepper ( oil optional)

Cabbage Salad ( from my sister in law Yaelli)
bag chopped coleslaw
1/2 onion or 1 bunch of scallions
Optional slivered almonds
5 Tbs oil
5 Tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
Chow Mein noodle topping

Chinese Cabbage Salad
1 bag chopped coleslaw
1/8 cup Toasted sesame seeds
½ bag slivered almonds
Dressing ( must mix in food processor or blender)
1 cup oil
½ cup vinegar
½ cup sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp mustard
2 Tbs peanut butter.
Dress right before serving top with Chow Mein Noodles

Roasted Garlic
1 head of garlic the top cut off so cloves are exposed
Generous salt
Oil
Wrap in tinfoil and cook for 40 min- 1 hour on 400

Broccoli Salad
Broccoli
Raisins
Slivered Almonds
Balsamic vinegar
Salt

Creamy Broccoli Salad
Broccoli
Tomatoes
Onion
Dressing – Mayo, lemon, salt, pepper, lots of garlic

Black Bean Salad
1 can Black beans
1 can Corn
½ bunch Parsley
½ Orange or Red Pepper
Tomato ( optional)
Lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic ( oil optional)
